Our Story

Black Timber Goods is built around the details, rituals, objects, places, and moments that make outdoor life worth returning to.

Fishing and hunting are at the center of that world, but they are never the whole story. The water before the strike. A dog holding point. Fresh bark on a rub. Coffee before daylight. Worn gear in the back of a truck. The road in. The road home.

Those are the things Black Timber pays attention to.

The brand was shaped by years spent outside in different parts of the country — from Colorado mountain water and western country to the hunting, fishing, and backroads of the South. Today, Black Timber is built in Texas, where those influences come together.

That history is part of why the brand doesn't belong to one species, one season, or one version of the outdoors.

Rivers. Lakes. Camps. Bait shops. Bird dogs. Old equipment. New gear already being put to use. Two-lane roads. Sporting traditions. People who make things, fix things, guide, hunt, fish, work, wait, and keep going back.

Black Timber makes apparel and goods from that world.

Our shirts are pressed in-house in small runs. New graphics are physically tested before release, and orders are packed and shipped by us. We would rather release something slowly and get it right than put a design into the world that doesn't hold up in person.

Not to manufacture an outdoor identity. Not to tell anyone what kind of outdoorsman they should be.

Just to bring something back from the places and moments worth paying attention to.

For the people who recognize them.
